No matter how careful you are when decorating, small splatters of paint can end up on the tile flooring. Here are some hints and tips to help you remove paint from tile floors and make everything spotless again.
To remove paint from tile floors, firstly, give the floor a good clean. You can use off the shelf household cleaners or homemade ones like water and white vinegar solution. Then, once the floor is clean, let it dry well.
Next, to remove paint from tile floors, you can apply WD-40 Multi Use product. Use the instructions on the packaging to determine how much to use and how long it should be allowed to sit. Then, wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth. As a precaution, always test a small area of the floor first, before you go ahead with this step.
If the paint has dried hard, and is not coming off easily, you can apply more WD-40. Then, gently scrape the area, using a plastic scraper. Be very careful, to avoid damaging the glaze on the tiles. If damage does occur, you may need to re-varnish the affected area.
When you find that you are satisfied with the result, go ahead and clean the surface of the floor with some soap and warm water and a clean, dry cloth. This will remove any WD-40 residue.
Your home will be beautiful again and the paint will be where it is meant to be – on the walls and not the tile floorings!
