Glue residue can be one of the most stubborn and difficult things to remove from any surface. But it does not have to be hard work! This short guide will help you to remove glue residue quickly and easily from any surface.
To remove glue from any surface, firstly, you will need to scrape away any residue. Hold your blade or scraper flat against the surface you are scraping and scrape gently to make sure you do not damage the surface.
If you still have some stubborn glue residue stuck on the surface, then grab a can of WD-40 Multi Use Product. Spray the WD-40 Multi Use Product directly onto the affected surface and leave this to soak into the residue for a couple of minutes. Next, take a rag and wipe the product away. Reapply as many times as you need to in order to remove the most stubborn residue.
Once you are happy that all of the glue residue has been removed from the effected area, it is time to clean the surface. Grab a bowl, fill this with some hot soapy water and with a sponge or clean cloth scrub the area clean. This should remove the stickiness that glue residue leaves behind.
It is as simple as that, you have now removed that horrible, sticky glue residue and you are now an expert on how to remove glue residue from all surfaces, even the most stubborn of problems!
