Have you tried to remove a sticky label from a glass bottle, but when you scrape it off with your nails, it goes to shreds? We have all experienced this kind of frustration … but WD-40 Multi-use Product can help! You can use WD-40 to remove a sticky label from the bottom of a new pair of shoes, any glass or plastic bottle or jar, or even from a window pane.
There are of course other ways to remove a sticky label, such as using a hair dryer or olive oil, but these processes are sometimes long and the oil can make the area greasy. With the help of a cloth or sponge, WD-40 Multi-use Product allows you to peel off the label in a few sprays without leaving any residue of glue or grease.
To remove a sticky label, first, take a clean, dry cloth and a can of WD-40 Multi-Use Product. Then, shake the aerosol so that its components mix and make the product as effective as possible. Spray the product generously on the label to be peeled off.
Once the product has been sprayed, let it act for a few moments so that the label can be peeled off easily. WD-40 Multi-Use Product will work under the label, to loosen the glue.
Now you are ready to remove the sticky label. First, pull a corner of the label and it should start to peel off easily. If the sticker is stubborn, use a scraper (or a substitute) to scrape off the adhesive residue. Spray the product again if the label is really stubborn for more effective action.
Once you have peeled off the label, first, wipe the surface with a sponge or a damp cloth. Next, rub the area with a dry microfibre cloth. Now, the surface will be as clean as if the label or sticker never existed!
Now you know how to remove a sticky label quickly and easily!
