The best solution to get rid of crayon marks, that won’t damage your walls, is using WD-40® Multi-Use Product. Simply spray the WD-40® onto the crayon marks. Leave it for a few minutes for it to work its magic, then use a clean rag to wipe the formula off your wall – and just like that, the crayon stains will disappear.
If you are without WD-40 try other tips for getting rid crayon marks below.
Is there anything that good old baking soda cannot do? Regardless of what the name might suggest, baking soda has unlimited uses, including getting rid of crayon marks from walls.
All you need to do is take a damp clean cloth and dip it in a little amount of baking soda. Next, scrub the crayon marks on the wall, gently, with the cloth. The results will depend upon the nature and the intensity of the marks. In most circumstances, the marks should come off easily, with minimal effort.
Another trusted method is good old washing up liquid. All you need for this to work is a bucket full of washing up liquid mixed with hot water – it’s that simple.
Then, soak a sponge in the mixture and apply it to the damaged wall. This method may require some extra elbow grease for it to work. One of the disadvantages of this process is that you may end up getting rid of some of the paint off your walls too. So, just be careful and keep an eye on each wipe.
