The WD-40 Specialist Degreaser is an industrial degreaser formula designed for metal surfaces and has the potential to damage painted and coated surfaces. Matte surfaces are especially tricky because you can’t use any cleaner that will leave your car shiny/ glossy (No silicones or gloss additives), and also you cannot use any abrasive clothes or scrub the matte finish as this will also add shine and affect the matte finish.
